My last words for the year 2012

Before the clock strikes 12am today and a new year starts, I shall review year 2012 in a bit.

This year has been a very unique year for me, compared to the previous 17 years of my life. I embark on a new phase of life, or more specifically, new phase of STUDENT life which is university life! I’m considered early to register and start my university life compared to my fellow friends. Most of them had a few months rest before starting in May intake or even September intake! I had the orientation in Dec 2011, and officially started Foundation in Jan 2012.

I made new friends in university of course. Many different types of friends, some very reliable, some are those that come and go. So far, I made a few good friends. I’m not the type who go around and socialise with people, so naturally my social life isn’t that happening either. I’m quite contented with that thou. I won’t be any happier going out to clubbing or socialising with people I don’t favour. I miss my SBS friends thou, couldn’t make time to meet up because our timetables are clashing!

I can cope so-so with my studies for now, it’s just foundation year! My academic results are quite good so far 🙂 I will face more difficulties and challenges next year as I’m starting my degree life. That’s when the real university life comes about.

As for my love life, it’s pretty dry. HAHAHAHA. My parents said before I start my university life that I can shortlist potential guy friends for now, but no dating yet. I actually shortlisted a friend I met in May, but just few months ago, I striked his name off the list. A lot of my friends who sees me with him actually asked me if we are dating! Tsk tsk. He likes me, but I guess he didn’t have the guts to ask me out or actually make a progress. He has a lot of other stuff that I found out about him that he lied to me. No use being together with a guy that has character like this right? I prefer guys who are braver and more straight-forward to me. I have a specific list of criterias I want in a guy, all in my head. I haven’t actually write it down yet, maybe I should write it down in my blog so that one day in the future, I can read back my post and compare the criteria with my future BF that time (hopefully I’m taken that time :p)

I will post up a list of new year resolutions probably…tomorrow? 😀
I can hear fireworks already! It’s already year 2013!
Yup, my computer calendar states the date and time as 1/1/2013, 12.10am.
Gotta get used to writing 2013 instead of 2012!

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY DEAR READERS! 새해 복 많이 받으세요! 🙂

Goodbye 2012 & Happy New Year 2013!

The last week of December has been a busy week for me and whole family!
Had a family photoshoot for sister’s graduation pictures on Saturday! The photoshoot session was in the morning, so as soon as we were finished with it, we had time for shopping!

Changed to casual clothes!
Simple make up of the day!
HD BB Cream from FaceShop, lip tint from Etude House, mascara from Maybelline, white eyeliner from Nature Republic and some pink blusher.

Tried on clothes at Cotton On.
This shirt looks very similar to the one I was wearing that day!
I also got the shirt from Cotton On!

OOTD:
White shirt from Cotton On
Bag from HK
Bracelet from FBlock
Sneakers from Everlast
I hear quite a number of people around me saying that I resemble Tang Wei a lot. I haven’t watch any of her movies but I watched a few of her SK-II commercials
Hehe I admit, I think that I look a little like her too XD *blush*

Katie and me! Taken using Katie’s S2.
Somehow I find that her handphone camera quality is crisper than mine…
Mine pictures all looks very washed out!

She loves her new blue handbag :p

Cheese baked rice with fish fillet in Portuguese sauce.
More like curry and turmeric sauce. Meh.

This is the place where I got the white cat tissue holder!
It’s located at Tokyo Street, Level 6, Pavillion!

If you follow me on Twitter, you might probably already know that I’ve been searching for a good eye make up remover :p I have tried Johnson’s & Johnson’s No More Tears but it was to no avail. My eyes were practically TEARING after using it. Eyes all red and bloodshot from all the tugging.
Then luckily one day, I came upon a review on this Biore Makeup Remover for Eye & Lip and it claims that it won’t sting the eyes! This godsend product does wonders when removing eye makeup!
All the glitter dark eye shadow, eyeliner and WATERPROOF mascara just magically dissolves onto the cotton pad! And my eyelids are all clean and smooth! No tugging and rubbing required! Love this product to the max, will definitely use this after I finish my current bottle!

Biore Makeup Remover for Eye & Lip is retailing for RM29.90 at Watsons.

Tada!
All the eye make up comes off on the soaked eye pad!
Soak the solution onto eyelids from 5 seconds before wiping it off.

New dark brown nail color from Skin Food!

Katie got the Naked Palette 2 from Urban Decay!
OMFG! Every girl’s dream come true! All the earthy tones in one palette!
Shimmery and matte colours!
Much more shimmery ones compared to Naked Palette 1 which has more of matte colours.

Chopper!
Orange hue!

Love Snakebite!
Every Naked Palette comes with a free mini Urban Decay lip gloss!

Half Baked! ♥♥♥

Naked Palette 2 is retailing at RM179 at Sephora!
Colours used on Katie:
Half Baked
Busted
Black Out
Booty Call

Got pastels from Daiso to try on hair chalk!

18 vibrant colours!

Use plastic gloves!

Red!
The chalk caused my hair to break a lot and it was very dry!
It is very damaging to the hair, even normal type hair!
Don’t do this on a regular basis! :p

Tinge of green.
By the way, that is my real hair colour under the sunlight!
Light brown-orange hair!

Red again! 🙂

Happy New Year my readers! Bid year 2012 farewell and welcome a new year! Hope for better target and accomplishment in life! Till next year (haha in a few days)!

Antipodean Cafe @ Bangsar

Hey lovelies! This will be a short post! I have heard of Antipodean quite some time already, but didn’t have a chance to go, partly because it’s in Bangsar! It’s like the place to go to be seen, with frequent visits by local bloggers! I hardly go to that area, until one day sis took the wrong road from The Gardens which lead us to Bangsar. I always thought that Bangsar was near PJ area, somewhere deserted. I didn’t know it was so happening! Lot’s of fashion boutiques and cafes around the Bangsar Village / Jalan Telawi area! Next on my to-go list is Fat Spoon and Red Bean Bag!

Ice lemon tea

The cafe is pretty small, and the menu is written in chalk on the walls.
It’s advisable to get a seat that is facing the menu 😀

The famous BIG BREAKFAST! Antipodean is very famous for their BIG BREAKFAST!
Although it is stated on the menu under Breakfast, you can actually get it all day long! I practically ate everything on the plate. The plate looks so clean at the end of my meal!
The bread is crispy, bacons very juicy, hash brown is cooked nicely, scrambled eggs good.
The main highlight of the dish is on the sautéed mushrooms! It has a garlic taste to it too.
I’m not a fan of garlic, but the mushrooms totally taste better with garlic!
Went out just to eat brunch! Yum!
Very contented and full! ^__^
