Review: DAUN KL @ Mahsa University

Hey lovelies! ❤️

DAUN KL is an extension from the widely popular glasshouse-themed cafe, POKOK inside MAHSA University in Petaling Jaya. The food served here are light bites as there’s no kitchen here, but fret not! They do serve salads, cakes and warm croissants with filling which are perfect to match that cup of coffee of yours during tea time.

The space is filled with plants hung from the ceiling as well as pothos plant (money plant) on the tables. There are only about 10 small tables to accommodate less than 30 pax at a time. Went there on a quiet Friday evening on CNY eve where most cafes were closed for the CNY break.

Plenty of sunlight to photosynthesize these plants! 🙂

The DAUN cafe is in the building next to POKOK KL Cafe. Head over to the 2nd floor Artisan Market Place.

The lot occupies lot 2-16 to 2-20 on the right side when you exit the lift.

Wunderbath shop just opposite DAUN.

DAUN menu with a range of coffee, non-coffee, tea drop and savoury light bites. We didn’t order much since we just came from another cafe and were going to have CNY reunion dinner in a few hours.

They serve burnt cheese cakes by the slice too! Looks delicious 😮

We ordered herbed chicken croissant to share. I was a bit skeptical at first when I saw it was reheated in the microwave since it gave me the impression that it’ll be dry. But surprisingly, the croissant was flaky with generous amount of well-seasoned herbed chicken bits inside. It came with a side of garden salad too. Amounted to RM15 per plate.

Hoping to come by this cafe again to try their drinks and cakes. So far it was a pleasant first-time experience for tea time.
